I get this question all the time.
Is it helpful to do any kind of cleanse for healing?
Cleanses are, they can get complicated and they can get difficult for so many people.
Not because we're so toxic.
That's one aspect of it.
When we're really toxic and you do a cleanse, you might need to just, you know, take a little time off
because you might get hit with a storm of toxins,
flushing out of the liver, flushing out of the system,
lymphatic system, and so forth.
And if you're not feeling well, it's amplified even more.
So what the deal is with cleanses is that everybody's different.
Everybody.
Some people can handle a more harder cleanse, juice fast, water fast, so forth.
But what I recommend is you start simple.
First of all, in my book,
Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal, the medical meeting book.
In that book, I have a 28-day cleanse. And that 28-day cleanse is a food-eating regime because
you can cleanse while eating a lot of food because it's the right kind of foods you're picking.
So if you're someone who's afraid of a cleansing clinic or water fasting, juice fasting, or it's
just too cumbersome or too difficult or too detoxifying at once, you don't have to do any
of that. There's no need for that. I like gentle cleanses that are food-based where you live your
life. You don't get hindered by it, but you're cleansing. That's the kind I like for, you know,
virtually everybody, even though everybody's different and they can do different things out
there. This is the one I like. Um, and I have recommended different cleanses for people,
of course, in different ways. There's no question. I've water fasted. I've, I've recommended that
over the years for, you know, for certain people and so forth and, and other different kinds of
fasts and cleanses. But I like the food eating cleanse. I like that. That's really helpful.
That means you're eating lighter, but you're still getting calories. You're eating lower fat.
Lowering your fat in your diet is the most powerful way to cleanse. See, does this make
any sense to you? You got someone who goes and does a 30-day cleanse or a 20-day cleanse,
whether it's a juice cleanse or some kind of liver cleanse for 20 days
and they're not eating anything or whatever that cleanse is that's really intense,
whether they're sitting in some hot springs somewhere
and they're living on just water and juices,
does it make any sense to leave that cleanse and then go back to a really high-fat diet?
It doesn't make any sense because we get intoxicated through the years of our life
because our livers get burned down by high-fat diets.
This is one of the reasons why people say, well, it's processed food that causes all this toxin and stuff.
Well, actually, no, it's the high fat in processed food that causes the most damage because high fat is in processed food, different fats.
So you want to do a cleanse that takes some time, meaning like it doesn't disturb your life cycle, doesn't throw you into some crazy cleanse in the moment of your life.
You can still work. You can still do your career. You can still take care of your children. You can still live your life. You can still take care of your grandchildren. You can still function. You can still be productive and not have to really suffer the consequences of a real heavy cleanse.
then you know like i said people who cleanse these cleanses they jump right back on to high
fat diets and they kind of dirty their system up again here's the bottom line you want to do like
a lower fat regime in the book i have a 28 day cleanse and that's you know really really low fats
but if you're someone who just wants to start cleansing in a way you know a nice helpful
version of it, you lower your animal fats first and any other toxic fats. I'm not saying animal
fats are toxic. I'm talking about fried fats. I'm talking about processed fats, fats that are in
some kind of like chocolate cake, you know, whatever. Fats that are in a bad dressing,
like even canola oil, that's a bad fat. Lard, you know, any kind of fat that isn't good.
poisonous fats, I call them. And then, but you need to kind of lower your animal fats a little
bit too and go with lean. If you're someone who loves animal protein and that's, that's what you
love to do. And that's what you love to eat. I recommend lowering the fat content in them,
meaning leaner meats or leaner, you know, animal products of, of any kind, maybe fish and so forth.
You go with fish, but you, but you lower those animal fats to do the cleanse. And if you're
someone who's not into uh animal proteins and you're you're vegetarian or vegan or plant-based
then you want to lower your plant fats you want to lower how many avocados you eat you want to
how many nuts you eat you want to lower how many oils are in your diet as a vegan or a vegetarian
or a plant-based uh if you if you've adopted a plant-based diet so the idea of the game is the
The more fats you lower, the more you cleanse without it affecting you.
And then you raise your other foods.
So say if you're someone that likes the animal proteins
and you want to minimize those animal proteins to lower your fats to cleanse
and cleanse your liver to save your liver and save your kidneys and everything
and get those stones out of you and those kidney stones and gallstones and liver.
So get all those stones out of your system.
Well, you lower your animal fats.
And if that's too hard for you because you're so used to that animal fat content, you bring some more plant fats in.
You bring more avocados in.
Bring in a few more nuts and seeds.
And you bring in those plant fats a little bit higher.
You bring in coconut.
You bring in coconut oil.
So that's one way to get that cleansing tier to start to break down, to get that cleansing to start happening.
And then you keep your animal proteins really minimum.
You can even take an animal protein break temporarily and you can then bring them back into your diet as long as it's properly managed.
You can bring them back in.
With a vegan and vegetarian, a plant-based person, someone who's adopted that philosophy in that diet frame, you lower your avocados, you lower your nuts, you lower your oils, you lower everything.
Then you can even go just no fat, fat-free.
Anybody can do that. Either side can do fat-free. Fat-free means there's no animal fats, there's no plant fats either. You just go all fruits, salads, steamed vegetables, cooked squash, artichokes, sweet potatoes, and you do it this way.
Basically what that means is though that you're cleansing,
but you're eating a fat-free diet for the moment.
And then what that does is your liver starts to rejuvenate really, really quickly.
Once it starts rejuvenating really quickly,
you can then, you know, gain that speed,
really cleanse and detox the way you need to.
Then you can bring your fats back in,
whether you're into animal protein or you're all plant-based
and a vegetarian vegan.
You can bring in those fats again.
but you'll feel it too when you bring them back in you'll feel whoa i was eating a little too much
of those heavy fats and it was burdening my liver it was burdening my kidneys it was making my
lymphatic system toxic this way you can get the toxins out and you can bring these foods back in
if you'd like so that's that's how it works for cleansing and i hope that helps with that question
for sure
